Course Description

This Course aims to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. 

Accredited by American Heart association (AHA) 

Course Objectives

  1. To be High-quality Child CPR AED and Infant CPR 
  2. Recognition of patients who do and do not require immediate intervention 
  3. Recognition of cardiopulmonary arrest early and application CPR within 10 seconds 
  4. Apply team dynamics 
  5. Differentiation between respiratory distress and failure 
  6. Early interventions for respiratory distress and failure 
  7. Differentiation between compensated and decompensated (hypotensive) shock 
  8. Early interventions for the treatment of shock 
  9. Differentiation between unstable and stable patients with arrhythmias 
  10. Clinical characteristics of instability in patients with arrhythmias 
  11. Post–cardiac arrest management 

Requirements

  • A valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • A background in healthcare or emergency medical services
  • Strong understanding of basic ECG interpretation and pharmacology
